This could well be John Kiely’s last year in charge of the Treaty and we all know how desperate Cork are to end 21 years of hurt on Leeside.

Liam McCarthy this this year will be a tough one to call. Cork after today’s game seems to have recovered their never say die attenuate and after victory over the likes of Kilkenny they deserve the utmost respect. Though I think Linericks win over Kilkenny might just be that little bit more convincing. However Cork are looking a very hungry team this year and no surprise to see a much bigger improvement come from them.
