Cork are set to take on Limerick this Sunday at Supervalu Páirc Uà Chaoimh and wouldn’t you believe it, but RTE aren’t covering the match. This has upset the hurling supporters of Limerick and Cork as you can imagine. Have a look at some of the comments below ..

In the meantime Cork v Limerick, with a crowd of 30,000 expected, isn't available to watch anywhere
As a man once said – Who has hurlings back?

Ye but how many would watch it on tv? Nothing outside of Munster final, AI semis and final made it to top 50 most watched last year. Is it RTEs job to promote it?It’s probably the match of the league in hurling given what happened last year in the 2 fixtures. 2 weekends in a row where football is the Saturday night match. It would be the most watched thing on Irish TV all over the weekend. 30,000 people for a league match in an amateur sport must be unheard ofNobody. All lip service. Hurling gates in Munster keeping the province going. But people have to watch the football now due to the new rules. Could have been put on numerous platforms but only local radio currently. Ridiculous!!
Rte one week into Leagues and no hurling yet …Hurling no matter what the powers to be do to improve football ,will always be number 1.. I watched Armagh v Galway last weekend,it was shocking ,,Dublin v Mayo not too bad ,,but when Clare v kilkenny played each other in the hurling what a good game .. Get yer act together rte ,.. and don’t start saying the rugby is in the way ..
Hurling is a minority sport, most gaa officials are football supporters so it is hard to get hurling games on TV.some clubs do not want want hurlers.
Where in the F are you living iv seen football matches and there wouldn’t be 50 people at them I’d go to hurling matches and one could hardly get in
