This will be music to Limerick manager John Kiely’s ears with the news that Aaron Gillane is expected to be feature in the Treaty’s match against Waterford on Sunday.

“We’re looking forward to having them back,” Kiely told Limerick Live 95’s The Sideline Cut podcast.
“They’re two very, very important players in this group for many, many years now. We just want to get the group as healthy as we possibly can. At the minute, we’re in a great place with that regard. Everybody’s chomping at the bit.
“Everybody wants to be part of the 26 and everybody wants to be on the field for the first 15. It’s creating a great sense of competition within the group for those places.
“The most important thing is we have these guys available to us now and whatever role they’re given on Sunday, be it starting or finishing, we just want to get the very, very most out of them and contribute as much as possible to the group.”
