The former Tipperary hurling manager Liam Sheedy and his assist Eamon O’Shea could be set for the main job in Offaly hurling. What a boost this would be for the midlands county and right next to Tipperary so not much of a commute for the former boss of the Premier County.
Big news: Eamon O'Shea and Liam Sheedy have been lined up to take charge of the Offaly hurlers. Would be a great coup if it comes off. #GAA https://t.co/rC8n4cBhyW

Davy back to Waterford, Liam Sheedy and Eamon O Shea touted for Offaly, never a dull week on the managerial hurling trail !! That just leaves Dublin, would be great if Colm Bonnar or Brian Cody took up the reins there !! #Hurling

If reports turn out to be true, attracting someone of the calibre between manager and coach duo of Liam Sheedy and Eamon O'Shea, that would represent a serious coup and statement of intent by Offaly.

It’s going to be an interesting off season in the inter county in both hurling and Gaelic football with a lot of managerial appointments still to be made. We can’t wait for next summer already, but in the meantime it’s hugely important to get out and support your club in the club hurling championship.
If Liam Sheedy and Eamon O’Shea do take up the job with the faithful county we wish them all the best, they will need it as Offaly hurling is fighting it’s way back.
