“Stop smoking spice” – Liam Gallagher takes aim at journalist over outrageous Sergio Aguero article

Rock and roll superstar Liam Gallagher has taken aim at Liverpool Echo journalist Christopher Beesley after an article he wrote regarding Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero.

Manchester City confirmed yesterday evening that, after a decade of exemplary service, Aguero will be leaving the Etihad at the end of the season, when his contract is due to come to an end.

Aguero will leave as one of the greatest strikers in Premier League history, with his name etched into the walls at the Etihad. The Argentine, who is the top scorer in City’s history, will go down as one of their best ever.

It’s for that reason that City fans could be forgiven for being a little triggered after an article by Liverpool Echo journalist Christopher Beesley suggested that Liverpool could be the 32-year-old’s next destination.

Liam Gallagher, who made up part of rock and roll super group Oasis, and is a Man City supporter, was not particularly impressed with Beesley’s work, and he made it know.

Gallagher sent out the below tweet, which says all that needs to be said about his thoughts on the prospect of Aguero moving to Anfield in the summertime.
