Deontay Wilder suffered another defeat at the weekend.

The former WBC heavyweight champion was looking to bounce back from defeat to Joseph Parker at the end of last year.

But once again he looked gun shy and was knocked out by Zhang in the fifth round.

Former undisputed heavyweight king, Lennox Lewis gave his take on Wilder’s future and believes it’s time ‘The Bronze Bomber’ hung up the gloves

Posting on X formerly Twitter he wrote:

‘The @BronzeBomber told us before the fight that he would retire if he didn’t win. I think that’s a wise decision. He’s more than carved out a life in which he can take care or his daughter, 💪🏾 so before he suffers any more damage, it’s best to leave the game with ur faculties intact because there’s a LOT more life to live after boxing.’
