The position at Bournemouth became available after the sacking of former manager Jason Tindall following a string of four straight Championship defeats.

Former Chelsea player and club legend John Terry is apparently one of the people being considered for the Bournemouth job according to the Daily Mail.

Terry isn’t the only Premier League legend being linked with the job as former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira has also been mentioned as a potential replacement for Tindall.

Vieira was sacked in December by Nice and has also managed New York City FC and had previously been considered for the Newcastle United job.

It is understood that Bournemouth want an immediate return to the Premier League but due to tight finances they may not be able to attract a manager with enough experience to achieve their short-term goals.
