Leeds United react to ESL news by changing Big 6’s names on official website

Leeds United have reacted to the news that 12 of Europe’s biggest clubs plan on forming a European Super League.

With news recently reaching fans that six of the Premier League’s wealthiest clubs are set to break away and form a new, elitist style super league, Leeds United has updated their official website to reflect their feelings.

Despite being one of England’s most popular clubs, Leeds United are not set to be one of the six involved in new plans to form an ESL.

In response to this, the Whites have updated their fixtures by changing the names of the participating clubs to generic and more Americanised names.

The update appears to be temporary and has since been reverted back, but make no mistake, someone at Leeds United Football Club wanted their feelings known.
