Mike Tysonâs former KO victim Larry Holmes has sent a warning to Jake Paul.
In 1988 Tyson was in his prime and the most feared man on the planet and was far too much for a 38-year-old Holmes who succumbed to a fourth round stoppage defeat.
At 58 years-of-age this is nowhere near that version of âIron Mikeâ but Holmes believes he could pose a significant threat to âThe Problem Childâ.

âI fought Mike and he hit me and that was the end of it,â Holmes told OLBG. âEarnie Shavers was the hardest Iâve ever faced but when Tyson hits, he tries to kill you.
âMike knocked the s**t out of me, he hit me so hard I went âwoooooâ. And he beat me. It was embarrassing. I remember the right hand he hit me with â I thought at the time âhe should be locked upâ because of the power, and he kept on coming, growling like Joe Frazier. Thatâs the fight Iâm expecting Mike to put on. Jake has to survive that.â

âIf Jake moves like Larry Holmes did, around in circles, ducking punches then he might be able to survive,â he said. âBut if he doesnât move around, duck Mikeâs punches, heâs not going to make it.
âIf he doesnât get Mikeâs respect early, Mike is going to run over him, believe me. He has to hit Mike hard right off the bat otherwise itâs goodnight, Irene
âMike Tyson doesnât care about anything, heâll fight you right now, even though heâs not in any shape. And heâs going to hit you, and when he does that, itâs all over. Mike is ready for it. He wonât be taking any punches in training. If Iâm betting my money itâs on Mike.â
