The Covid situation is starting to turn into a bit of a joke at this stage? The GAA players still aren’t allowed use the dressing rooms due to social distance, confusing when the Rugby and Soccer around the country are? It was a Championship match between St Joseph’s and Portlaoise and the players weren’t permitted to use the dressing rooms, instead they had to tog out under a gutter pipe. After the game a lot of the lads went and socialised together so what difference does it make really at this stage?
The evenings are getting shorter and wetter every week, so now it’s surely time for the GAA to let the players back into the dressing rooms? Otherwise what was the point in all of us getting the vaccinated?
Portlaoise togging out under a gutter in the lashing rain for a championship knockout game at 7pm. Stand being used by teams in 5pm game.

At least we had the gutter, St Joseph’s had nothing, complete madness-Laois gaa are just implementing the rules but inter county teams were allowed tog out in the dressing rooms for league and championship-what’s the difference?open the dressing rooms to club teams! @officialgaa https://t.co/9xiXwKoFbX

We’ve had a great summer of inter county GAA action and now it’s back to the club game for the winter months and the same respect should be shown to the club player as was the inter county during the summer. Time to end all these Covid restrictions especially when you see what’s happening across the water with full stadiums etc…
