“Raises question marks” – Jamie O’Hara BAFFLED by flop Frank Lampard’s decision-making

Sky Sports pundit Jamie O’Hara was left absolutely baffled by Frank Lampard’s decision-making during Everton’s defeat to West Ham.

Everton were defeated 2-1 at the London Stadium to extend their miserable away record under Lampard and leave them lingering precariously above the relegation zone ahead of their crucial six-pointer against Burnley midweek.

Lampard was unable to mastermind a victory against the European football-contending Hammers, which it’d be harsh to criticise him for, considering better teams have been defeated in East London this campaign.

However, or so Jamie O’Hara believes, Lampard’s tactical decision-making in the midst of the action surrendered any hope of Everton causing an upset. He tore into the Chelsea legend during an appearance on Sky Sports News.

Chelsea fans’ argument would be that Jamie O’Hara, of all people, has shown some serious cheek speaking in this manner about one of the all-time Premier League greats, especially considering he has never made the plunge into management.

At the end of the day, though, O’Hara is there to provide his opinion, and it’s hard to argue with the logic that Everton would be better off with their main striker in the penalty area while looking to overturn a one-goal deficit.

Whatever Lampard is doing at current doesn’t appear to be having the desired effect, and considering what’s at stake for a club the size of Everton, he really ought to rethink his strategies going forward.
