There was an awful incident in the the Mid Kerry Championship final – Keel v Laune Rangers

The final score was Laune Rangers 0-12 – Keel 1-6

Laune Rangers ended 17 years of hurt when they claimed the Michael O’Connor Cup after a superb performance against a brave Keel outfit who gave it everything, but just came off second best at a well laid out Paddy Burke Memorial Park in Milltown.

But the main talking point from that game was when Lachlan Griffin went off with an awful injury. Griffin had an awful injury and we send our thoughts to the young footballer from Kerry. 

Awful to get that just before Christmas too, please God he makes a speedy recovery and is back enjoying it for the New Year.
