The former Munster and Irish out-half took to his twitter after today’s La Rochelle vs Leinster game in the south of France. It was a cracking contest between the two teams, the Cork man made sure to thank the All Blacks centre Jordie Barrett for gifting his son a pair of rugby boots.

Jordie Barrett is class👌👏👏- saw him help manys a player back to their feet…and always available for photos, signing items post games
He’ll fill those boots yet Rog,I see he’s a Kylian Mbappe fan, better come back to Cork to coach Munster before he gets notions about playing for France (football or rugby).
I wouldn’t be so sure, whatever you’re feeding him he’s nearly filling that 10 jersey he has, he’ll be bursting out of your old ones soon enough!
Great picture and message – kids getting to meeting their sporting heroes has a lovely impact
And also, a really nice moment in your recent interview to give Keith Treacy some warm feedback. I’d no idea of his background – so a lovely human moment
