Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has remarkably confirmed that he called teammate Neymar a BUM.
Some pretty candid Mbappe quotes have been doing the rounds in recent days after the World Cup winner did a tell-all interview with the French media.
Mbappe has admitted that he wanted to move to Real Madrid over the summer transfer window, but PSG stood firm and refused to let him leave.
Failure to secure a move of that kind was always going to leave some lingering frustration with Mbappe, who appears to have taken that out on Neymar, of all people.
Speaking to French daily L’Equipe, Mbappe confirmed that a bad pass in his direction led to him calling teammate Neymar a bum after being substituted.
Kylian Mbappé to L’Équipe: “Yes, I called Neymar ‘bum’ because I wasn’t happy with a pass. These are things which happen all the time in football. That’s why, right after, given how it blew up, I spoke to him about it. This happens because we want to win. That’s it – no issue”. pic.twitter.com/DMiBkLpWbo

It doesn’t seem as though there’s a significant problem between the two, but Mbappe ought to watch his mouth if he wants to maintain the equilibrium at the Parc des Princes.
