It’s nearly a week on from the All Stars and a lot of people aren’t happy with Kyle Hayes being named in the team of the year. Well a judge has opened up and named their reasoning for picking the 27 year old hurler in the team, have a look at some of the comments below ..

Embarrassing to select this guy. Read the room ffs you absolute numpty. Limerick didn’t even win the all Ireland so no one would’ve even cared if he wasn’t picked. Complete morons.

how far would they go? if a player committed rape, murder, war crimes would he still be eligible for an All-Star so long as he had a good season?

Can’t understand why they’d take away from the rest of the squad by including him – just seems like an easy way to stir up a (deserved) backlash

This scumbags behaviour is ruining the image of the GAA. An organisation that a lot of very good people put a lot of time, effort and dedication to serve their fellow Gaels and community.

Get over it what happened with Kyle Hayes is happening in night clubs and outside on a regular basis the only backlash is because he is the best wing back in the country and some counties cannot accept this sorry lads limerick have him and we are so so proud of him it’s amazing players in other counties have been guilty of offences and nothing highlighted as much as Kyle Pleistocene in glass houses ??????

We’ve pedophiles and rapists that go unnamed to protect the child they’ve abused and women they’ve raped these are vile criminals the lowest of the low yet there protected whilst a young and gifted hurler has been dragged through the media face all over TV and papers for a row where the truth lies between the two sides and speeding while the lowest of the low go unnamed Media should be ashamed of themselves for making this headlines for years with no regard for the mental health of this talented young hurler and no mention of all the good he has done with giving his time to various different causes

    1. But trying to drive past 9 cars and one of them being a squad car isn’t,that’s just moronic especially when you’re already serving a suspended sentence!

It’s just so disgusting to see Kyle Hayes case being dragged up again and again, it happened and it shouldn’t have but everyone makes mistakes, he went through the judicial system and judgment was passed so why can’t it be left at that if he was an unknown guy it wouldn’t be brought up again and again, leave it off enough is enough

      1. That is abit hard to take William. A person goes to court gets convicted and a suspended sentence given for a first offence. Then during that suspension period commits a second offence. That smacks of that person not really paying attention to our common laws.
        Do you not think that it is reasonable for that person to have their punishment upgraded to a level that will make them realise that is is not acceptable to be speeding and driving dangerously and putting other road users in danger irrespective of their national celebrity.

What he done was the action of a complete thug, he should not be allowed on the Limerick team if they had any regard for the youth of the county or any regard for the injured party or his family.Kyle Hayes is not the only gaa player in the country who thinks he can do what he likes when out on the town for a night, with the protection of the gas hierarchy.
