Sevilla defender Jules Kounde was shown a red card during his side’s tussle with Barcelona last night after lobbing the ball at Jordi Alba’s FACE!
Kounde is regarded as one of the finest young defenders on the planet. Chelsea’s reported interest in signing him, as uncertainty over Antonio Rudiger’s future continues, is testament to that.
For all the 23-year-old’s talent, however, he does have a dark streak of ill-discipline that he ought to work on stamping out.
He showcased it for the world to see as Sevilla battled with Barcelona on Tuesday night, with the Frenchman having grown frustrated and thrown the ball in the face of Jordi Alba.
Predictably, Alba made a meal of it, which resulted in Kounde being given his marching orders and Sevilla having to settle for a point against the worst Barcelona side for 20 years.
