Liverpool really needed that win tonight after losing their last two games against Chelsea and Fulham and especially if they still hope to finish inside the top four. It was a tricky game for a good side in Wolves at the Molineux Stadium this evening. Jurgen Klopp was a happy man with former Wolves player Digo Jota getting the winner for the Liverpool club.

Liverpool are now sixth in the table and only five points off Chelsea after the blues slipping up on the Saturday afternoon kick-off to Leeds United at Elland Road. Can Liverpool still finish in the top four and get that Champions League football for next season? Jamie Carragher doesn’t think so, Carragher believers winning the Champions League might be the best route if the Anfield club can win it again after winning it in 2019.
