The Derry side the Glen have chosen to appeal for a replay after last Sunday when the Dublin side Kilmacud Crokes had 17 players on the pitch at one stage in the last play of the game. While this was a mistake from the Dublin team, it was clearly a breach of the rules and a replay is surely the fair option.

It’s something the whole country has been talking about. If the GAA don’t grant a replay it will be a big let down form the association and won’t look good at all!

Glen has lodged an objection to Croke Park over the results of Sunday’s All-Ireland club football final defeat against Kilmacud Crokes.

The CCCC is expected to meet within the next 24 hours, with a replay the most likely decision.
