The former All Blacks Kieran Read has announced today after his team Toyota Verblitz failed to reach the final of the Top League in Japan going down 21 points to 48 to the Wild Knights in a cracking game of rugby with some big stars of the game involved including George Kruis.
What a player Kieran Read will be remember for, one of the best to play the game at Number eight? His ball handling skills were second to none for a number eight or any player for that matter, two World Cups, 52 tests as captain, including captain against the Lions in 2017 not bad at all.
