The former Ireland and Everton player Kevin Kilbane has hit out at the Sky Sports presenter Rob Wotton for his line of questioning, especially Wotton’s last question towards Ireland player Chole Mustaki, who did an incredible job coming on and keeping her composure.

This is really starting to blow over the top, these questions being aimed at the women’s team over the ‘Ooh ah up the ‘Ra’ song that they sang after the game.

It’s great to see everyone on twitter standing up for the Irish women’s team.

Mistake was made, move on, unfortunately people are very easily offended these days. Let’s not let this take away from the incredible job the Irish women’s team did in qualifying for the World Cup.
