Derry managed to overcome Kerry last night in the opening round of the Allianz League in Tralee, Austin Stacks Park. During the game at one stage one of the Kerry players was through on goal and rather then take the shoot himself, he choose to give the pass ..

I don’t get it,Seanie was marked,go for it,when you start out playing as a young fella you dream of getting winning goals,or sometimes points,what happens to to those dreams,your a forward with a one on one,go for it especially when it’s the better option

This was cowardice. He passed to someone who was well marked rage than shooting himself. Several other Kerry players were guilty of the same offence.

  1. Dublin v Monaghan game was as bad. How many time did Dublin forwards pass to a player at a worse angle rather that shoot themselves. Might as well taking kicking out of the game and make it European handball. Get everyone back defending and pass the ball around this they get a guy wide open in front of goal with keeper out of position. Kerry and Dublin both deserve to loose because of cowardice.

    1. What a joke two goals from two experienced players O’Brian O Shea both Kenmare men .Kerry are supposed to have the best forward not any more .they both chocked

    2. Like, you could do any better. Anyone that doesn’t make a mistake never makes anything. You could be singing their praises before the year is out. There would never be a loser if nobody made a mistake. Keyboard warrior, go back into your cave.

  2. The consetration on keeping possession is making football boring to watch. All this passing backwards is o pointless. Let’s get back to players pressing forward and trying to score.
