Last week there was a video that went viral across in a lot of different WhatsApp groups and since then the Kerry Chairman Patrick O’Sullivan has come out to clarify what was meant in the video and clear up any conclusions that people might have jumped to.
Now it’s been rumoured that the Kerry county board could seek to take legal action against the twitter user who was trying to damage the reputation of the Kerry players.
I am Patrick O’Sullivan tatler, “the bag” is my nickname which I got back in the 80s from my gear bag I used to bring to games, they were chanting my name as I lost in card roulette. It’s a joke to suggest the Kerry players are on drugs and is unacceptable https://t.co/pOnWDmPfC1

It was a great summer of GAA action and in hindsight now it looks like the shorter Championship was a genius idea. It’s an awful shame that rumours and stuff like this have to do the rounds now, after what was a top notch football and hurling season.
That twitter user would want to be praying…
