Former Laois Gaelic football Colm Parkinson doesn’t seem to be a big fan of the Off the Ball and this week he stood up for the Olympic boxer Kellie Harrington after she was quizzed on an interview on OTM.
MORE HERE: 🚨Jurgen Klopp’s favourite player could leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Kellie should have known conservative opinions upset the lads on that show.
'Brilliantly handled' by the interviewer i hear, pushing a boxer about a deleted tweet on immigration they didn't want to talk about.
That's where we are. https://t.co/WS83gn1kDB

When you’re in the public spotlight like Kellie Harrington is you have to be careful what views you put out public and unfortunately for her she is finding herself in the firing line now. Was Shane Hannon wrong to quiz her over this? Probably not, it’s the first time she has had to face this, since tweeted it last year.
I’m sure this will all blow over eventually, but a lot of sponsors might be afraid to turn her way.. Hopefully not because she has been a great role model.
