Skipper Robbie Keane returns to the Republic of Ireland starting line-up as manager Martin O’Neill goes in search of goals against Euro 2016 minnows Gibraltar.

The 35-year-old, who was used only as a substitute in the last qualifier against Scotland following a troublesome groin injury, is handed a 141st international cap and a chance to add to his 65 goals for his country in Faro.

The team also includes Aston Villa defender Ciaran Clark, Derby counterpart Cyrus Christie and the full-back’s club-mate Jeff Hendrick .

Gibraltar boss Jeff Wood, taking charge of his first game, includes Lee Casciaro, the scorer of his team’s only competitive goal to date, in his side.
