Roy Keane has risked the wrath of his wife after sharing a risky Instagram post wishing her a happy birthday.
Keane has been with his wife Theresa Doyle for over 20 years. It’s a wonder that he’s managed to make it this far without one of his trademark “saying it how it is” episodes ruining their marriage.
The Irishman has now run the risk of having divorce papers sent to him in the post with the manner in which he wished her a happy birthday via Instagram – which is sure to land him in the doghouse.
Keane not only referred to Doyle as his “first wife” but also brutally cropped her out of the photo. This is class!

While Keane puts on a no-nonsense, tough-talking act for the TV cameras, it does seem as though he has that classic Irish sense of humour – we just don’t get to see it very often.
Thankfully, with the former Manchester United skipper having signed up for Instagram after constant nagging from his daughters, we’re been provided with another avenue into his mind.
This is the kind of content we love to see from Roy.
