Like father, like son, Kai Rooney was playing for the Red Devils under 12’s over the weekend and scored all four of Manchester United’s goals as they lost five goals to four against rivals Liverpool. If he’s anything like his father, his sure to be quite the player, Wayne Rooney is Manchester United and England’s record goal, so he’s son Kai has big boots to fill.
But I’m sure Wayne Rooney will be happy that he’s son is playing the game and enjoying it, rather than having to live up to his name. Rooney himself is still managing Derby County and it will be interesting to see how he develops as a manager over time.
