Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given his taken on Netflix series Squid Game… and he’s not a fan.
Squid Game is all that anyone has been talking about since its release on the streaming platform. It was almost immediately projected to become the most-watched Netflix show EVER.
While every man and his dog has enjoyed the show and has been endlessly discussing it with their friends, Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he actually tried it and didn’t like it.
We’re not entirely sure how this came up in conversation, but while speaking to the press ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Brighton this weekend, Klopp said…

Squid Game is brutal and murderous, if Klopp didn’t know that heading into the first episode then he probably should have done his research a little better. That’s what the show is all about.
He’s well within his rights not to have liked it, but we’re not entirely convinced one episode is enough to say he’s given it a proper chance.
We’d be intrigued to hear what TV shows Klopp DOES enjoy when he sits on his sofa at home after a long day of work.
