Jurgen Klopp had an awkward moment with former Manchester City defender live on airšŸ˜¬

Jurgen Klopp had a very awkward interview with former Man City defender and now journalist, Nedum Onuoha after he told him ā€˜Iā€™m not sure if you played footballā€™.

The Liverpool manager has never been too keen on interviews, especially after his team doesnā€™t win. This was exactly the case after Liverpoolā€™s FA Cup draw with Wolves last weekend.

Speaking to ESPN, Onuoha question Klopp on the result and he hit back with a snide remark.

ā€œIn this moment, Iā€™m not sure if you played football, but these kind of things happen.ā€

The German clearly didnā€™t realise that he was talking to a former City player who had made over 100 appearances for the Manchester team. Over his 16-year professional career, he made 426 appearances, almost 100 more than the Liverpool manager.

Onuoha revealed why he didnā€™t correct Klopp after the interview.

ā€œDo you know what? If he was in a good mood, I probably would have said something back,ā€ he said.

ā€œBut he wasnā€™t in a good mood at all. And I thought for my first time interviewing someone so significant in world football, if I bit back it might turn into some sort of argument.

ā€œSo I thought thereā€™s the content, Iā€™ll let you guys enjoy it, and weā€™ll move on, get a bit more from him. I thought I did all right.ā€
