Jurgen Klopp had a very awkward interview with former Man City defender and now journalist, Nedum Onuoha after he told him ‘I’m not sure if you played football’.
The Liverpool manager has never been too keen on interviews, especially after his team doesn’t win. This was exactly the case after Liverpool’s FA Cup draw with Wolves last weekend.

Speaking to ESPN, Onuoha question Klopp on the result and he hit back with a snide remark.
“In this moment, I’m not sure if you played football, but these kind of things happen.”

The German clearly didn’t realise that he was talking to a former City player who had made over 100 appearances for the Manchester team. Over his 16-year professional career, he made 426 appearances, almost 100 more than the Liverpool manager.
Onuoha revealed why he didn’t correct Klopp after the interview.
“Do you know what? If he was in a good mood, I probably would have said something back,” he said.
“But he wasn’t in a good mood at all. And I thought for my first time interviewing someone so significant in world football, if I bit back it might turn into some sort of argument.
“So I thought there’s the content, I’ll let you guys enjoy it, and we’ll move on, get a bit more from him. I thought I did all right.”
