Jose Mourinho was furious with a reporter after she asked him why ‘it wasn’t a special night tonight’ after his Europa League loss.
Roma had a night to forget in the Europa League on Thursday evening, after a very even game the Serie A received a gut punch late on when RB Salzburg grabbed an 88th-minute winner.
As expected, Mourinho was furious after the game and didn’t try to hide it as he left the pitch and headed to the media area.

His mood didn’t improve when a reporter asked him a very insensitive question, ‘We are here with the special one but it wasn’t a special night tonight. Why was that?’.
The Portuguese manager looked almost shocked when asked and became even more annoyed when the reporter, not picking up on his body language asked it again and then again.
‘It wasn’t a special night for you. Why was that?’ and then asked Mourinho if he was unable to hear the question.
