Leinster Rugby have agreed to sign Jordie Barrett on a six month contract from December 2024 on, what a signing that is for the province. The blues will have both Barrett and RG Synman in the same team .. This has driven fans from outside of the province mental!
If the IRFU aren’t careful, Leinster will be a run away train just like Dublin are in the GAA ..

So Connacht never are afforded the luxury of buying superstars, Munster struggle to hold on Snyman and Frisch AND Ulster with Kitshoff and rarely get superstars.
Yet Leinster can get Barrett, Snyman and probably Tupou in 1 season.

Munster got a trophy and Leinster had two years without so the IRFU pay for two more central contracts, take away POM'S and sign Snyman and Barrett.

Leinster’s strengths in depth are a result of their pathway/schools system surely? It doesn’t just come down to money. What’s behind it all needs to be quality also.
The system is not fucked, the best run team is doing good business. There’s no mystery. I only wish my province was as well run
They could develop their own players? Munster had Snyman for a couple of seasons, Instead have had half the SA team over the last decade. Leinster sign two lads for 1 season and the salt flows
Can’t afford to put the Irish captain on a central contract but can afford a boondoggle where Leinster already have ample squad depth. Good riddance to Nucifora…
