🚨 Johnny Nelson hits back at Eddie Hearn and doubles down on Tyson Fury camp claims

Johnny Nelson has hit back at Eddie Hearn after he rubbished Nelson’s earlier claims.

Hearn had scoffed at the former cruiserweight champion’s claims about Tyson Fury’s camp, speaking to TalkSPORT he said: “Johnny Nelson was adamant that Fury had been dropped in sparring by Jai Opetaia.

“Jai Opetaia is with Matchroom, he’s a tremendous fighter. As far as I can see, it’s absolute rubbish.

But the man from Sky Sports has once again stated that Fury is having a rough time in training.

Speaking on TalkSPORT he said: “The devil in the detail, number one. Number two, I said before, promoters ought to stick to talking about promoting, managers speak about managing.

“Fighters stick to talking about fighting. So when I say a fighter has shown his a*** in sparring, did I say he got put down?

“I’ve heard the rumours about him getting put down. I am saying he got manhandled in sparring.

“So the devil is in the detail, when Eddie does that himself and he will play with words.

“Now I know from two reliable sources within the camp that Tyson has had a rough time, I know that.

“And Eddie is jumping on that for whatever reason and Eddie is a great promoter, one of the best ones out there. But don’t play with me with that.”

“When it comes to talking about boxing I will run rings around you. So we will see when it comes to fight night.

“If there is any truth to this at all, I am sure it will come out and the one thing that made me think ‘really?

“Tyson Fury has been uncharacteristically very, very quiet in the build-up to this fight. Now he is either all of the sudden matured and said ‘nope, I am going to knuckle down and get on with the job’.

“Now we all know no one tells Tyson Fury what to say or do. Tyson Fury will do whatever he wants to do because he wears his heart on his sleeve.”
