John Fury made a prediction for his son’s upcoming undisputed title clash against Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will finally collide on May 18th.

The bout will crown a first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.

Yesterday, Tyson Fury held a press conference in his hometown of Morecambe, with John Fury and promoter Frank Warren also in attendance at the venue.

And ahead of the huge showdown in Saudi Arabia his father, John Fury was asked to analyse the fight.

John said: “It’s going to be a chess match… it’s going to be a boxing match between two ring technicians.

“It could end up a bit of a boring fight to watch, because that’s what they do…”

Well that’s hardly the sort of promotion that Fury senior brings to these press conferences and the main table burst into laughter at the comment, with Tyson shouting: “Buy your tickets here, guys!”

Then one of his entourage then added: “We’ve reduced the tickets now…”

‘The Gypsy King’ then gave his own tongue-in-cheek prediction that he will be knocked out in the first round by the Ukrainian.
