Joey Barton has given his take on Emma Hayes and Jonas Eidevall’s heated post-match spat following Arsenal’s 1-0 Women’s League Cup final win over Chelsea.
Hayes shocked many when she appeared to shove the Arsenal Women’s boss, with footage of the incident going quickly viral on social media.

Former Newcastle player, Joey Barton is often controversial online and posted the kind of response you’d expect from him.
Taking to X formerly Twitter he quote tweeted a video of the incident.

I don’t agree all the time with Joey but he’s bang on with his comments here. He normally says what the average working guy is thinking, it’s only controversial because you in the media say so.
