What a cracking game of football that was on Sunday between two great sides in the All-Ireland club final, it’s an awful shame that the game is now left with this mess to be cleaned up and former All-Ireland winner with Derry, Joe Brolly believes the game has to be replayed.

The game must be replayed. Otherwise there is no integrity in our system. The GAA’s reputation will be zero. This has nothing to do with Glen or Kilmacud.

That was a refereeing error. Part 2 of the Rules. Not Part 1. This situation is specifically covered by R6.44

It’s a big day for the GAA and the Derry club the Glen who’s going to blink first with the whole country watching. Should the GAA just get on with it and give the Glen the replay, this is a situation where you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. But if I was the GAA stick the rules and sadly for the Dublin club Kilmacud, the broke the rules!
