🚨Jim Gavin has tried to put an end to the disgusting rumours going around about him ..

The former Dublin manager and now Presidential hopeful Jim Gavin has spoken out against some of the disgusting rumours floating around about him online.

“I’m taking a stand for my family and friends to say this is not good enough,” he said.

“Our kids use social media, it’s their go to. There has been some tragic examples of misuse against kids and sadly some consequences. I want to see the Media Commission, I want to see the companies taking strong action against this.”

Here are some of the comments online ..

Hey @john_mcguirk a number of players from that team (Paul Flynn, Ger Brennan, Philly McMahon) have already come out backing Jim Gavin, when the campaign has barely started and nominations haven’t closed . Unless you have another reason for mentioning this.

The most interesting part of FF getting these posts taken diwn off FB is Gavin never said he was going to sue for defamation. Interesting!

Philly Mcmahon endorsed him. I don’t think the campaign is in full swing yet, I’m sure in next few weeks around the times of debates etc a lot of Dublin players will campaign for him

  1. Its refreshing that while Jim Gavin is carrying the FF flag, he is not a typical politician waster. Varadkar arrogantly saying he will need to take direction off senior civil servants. I am sure a man who led the greatest team of all time, changed the rules of the game by leading change, led forces in the army and led the regulation of aviation….could….listen to a couple of boffins and follow their advice and double check it on chatgpt himself. I hope he gets in. Will be refreshing vs the current pontificating leprechaun
