England Women’s Euro winner Jill Scott has heralded the rise of women’s football following the Lionesses’ summer Euros win.
There are set to be 23 pitches named after each member of the Lionesses Euro 2022 squad, with Scott opening the first pitch which is to be named after her.
England’s Euro final win over Germany in the summer caught the eyes of football fans across the country, and Scott hopes the nation’s win is what will continue to make the women’s game grow.
