Everton loanee Jarrad Branthwaite enjoyed a moment with a Dutch reporter following his sideโs Cup win over FC Emmen.
The Eindhoven side beat their Eredivisie rivals 3-1 to advance to the competitionโs quarterfinals, with Branthwaite scoring a brace, his second and third goals for the club.
However, it was his interaction with a reporter post-match that was the highlight of the night.
The reporter acknowledged that Branthwaite used to play at Carlisle before his move to Everton and told a short story of his experience in the town.

โI went to Carlisle once with Brighton and I then phoned my mum and said Iโve arrived at the end of the world!โ, before saying โits a punishment to play thereโ, asking Branthwaite whether or not Carlisle really is the end of the world, not realising the town is where Branthwaite grew up after the player revealed moments later.

It was a moment to forget for the reporter but Branthwaite took it well, with the pair enjoying a laugh about the conversation afterwards.
