The former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has done an excellent job wherever he has gone. Winning leagues with Celtic, coming close to a title with Liverpool and now he has Leicester City in an FA Cup and third in the table. Incredible from the former Irish under schoolboy, will he say at Leicester City with the Spurs job up for grabs now though?

Carragher could find himself in a bit of hot water after his analysis last night though as he refereed to the Northern Irish manager as the best ‘British’ manager at the moment. Not too many Irish people would be happy with a former Republic of Ireland player called ‘British’.
