Jamie has slammed his boyhood club Everton for selling Anthony Gordon to Newcastle and doubled down on his claims that they’re ‘the worst run club in the country’.
Everton is in the middle of a horrendous Premier League season, they are currently planted in the relegation zone and are many people’s favourite to go down.
They have had to put out fires at every level and have received massive backlash from their fanbase. The club have just appointed Sean Dyche as their new manager in a bid to even out the nose dive they are currently in but due to dressing room unrest, they were also forced to sell one of their best players.

Anthony Gordon left Everton and joined Newcastle in a deal worth £45 million.
Boyhood fan, Jamie Carragher has slammed the club for this transfer decision in his Daily Telegraph column.
“Everton are an absolute mess,” he wrote.
“Every time it looks like they have sunk to their lowest point, they somehow find a way to showcase another level of ineptitude.
“To sell one of their few assets, Anthony Gordon, to Newcastle United for £40million without an immediate replacement lined up is an epic failure of leadership from the top, impacting on transfer strategy.”
