The 33 year old James McClean took to his Instagram today to slam football journalist Miguel Delaney and to tell him to keep his opinions to himself when it comes to judging nationalists born and raised in Derry.

It’s well known where the Wigan and Irish midfielder sits politically and he’s clearly not happy with The Independent journalist for one of his articles, see the screenshot of his story on Instagram.

I've personally repeated defended McClean, which is why this – in which I made no actual comment on him wearing the armband – is pretty aggravating.

The Queen passed away on Thursday evening and since then there has been a lot of chat online, as you can imagine, some people love the royal family and other hate them.
