The 73 caped Irish International has been suspended from Stoke City for a breach of the Covid rules, it looks like it was for using a public gym and not Stoke City’s strange this, when you think of all the facilities that professional footballers James McClean would have available to him.

McClean has been suspended with immediate effect according to the club and will be subject to a disciplinary hearing.
In a statement by the club from the club tonight it reads: “Stoke City can confirm that James McClean has been suspended with immediate effect pending a disciplinary hearing into an alleged breach of COVID-19 regulations, namely training in a private gym.
“As a result of the suspension, McClean will not be available for selection for Saturday’s game against Blackburn Rovers.”
Not the first time McClean has been in the discipline books and won’t be the last I bet!
