Wigan fans chant James McClean’s name after the game – ‘he’s one of our own’

After Wigan’s win against Huddersfield last night fans chanted James McClean’s name to show their love for the player, before the game all eyes were on the Derry native to see what he’d do for the Queen’s minutes silence. The 33 year old Irish footballer showed class with his head bowed and black arm band on.

It was a big result for Wigan last night and an important one that keeps them moving in the right direction up the table, would the northern club make a comeback to the Premier League this season?
