What a job James Horan has done with this Mayo side having come in for his second spell as Mayo manager. Mayo finally defeated Dublin in the Championship, this was Dublin’s first loss since August 2014 in the Championship an incredible record from the Dublin team and one that has to be applauded.

Now the question remains can Mayo finally go on and win the Sam Maguire Cup and end ‘The Curse’, there’s no doubt that James Horan will have his men fully prepared to give it a right rattle and I’m sure the whole country will be behind the red and green of Mayo.
