Jake Paul reveals boxing retirement plans

Jake Paul has revealed that he plans to retire from boxing after ten fights – which means we’re halfway there!

Love him or loathe him, there’s no denying that Paul has taken the boxing world by storm over the past two years.

He has fast become one of the most spoken about athletes on the planet, which is extraordinarily bizarre, because he’s not even a top 200 fighter in the world.

Still, victories over Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley (x2) have strengthened his credentials to an extent.

His next fight may well be against former middleweight world champion Julio César Chávez Jr, which would be a real sign of progress from the YouTuber.

He doesn’t intend on sticking around in the boxing domain for too long, however. Paul has revealed that he intends on retiring with a record of 10-0.

“The sky’s the limit for me right now and if I want to accomplish something it’s all about me being able to do that and me making the commitment and putting in the work required to do that.”

“But I think right now, going to 10-0, being undefeated, fighting some big names, making history and maybe taking a world championship belt from somebody just to say I did it, and retiring at 10-0.” – Quotes via Daily Star

We’re not entirely convinced that Paul will ever win a world title, but there’s every possibility of him finishing with a 10-0 record if he continues to fight washed-up UFC grapplers.
