Jake Paul offered another fighter the chance to fight him ahead of agreeing to the clash with Mike Tyson.

The YouTuber-come-boxer has revealed that his team approached Tommy Fury but the British fighter priced himself out of the fight.

Paul suffered the only defeat of his career so far when he dropped a split-decision to Fury last year and has been very vocal in wanting a rematch.

Speaking on his podcast ‘BS w/ Jake Paul’ he said: “Most Valuable Promotions, me and Nakisa, had been trying to find the right fight and the right timeframe, the right event and we knew we wanted to target this summer so we just started making calls.”

“We called Tommy Fury and he said no, he wanted more money and it’s all serendipitous, he’s probably punching the f***ing air now realising how big of a mistake he made, he’s an idiot.”

Next up for ‘The Problem Child’ is his clash with Mike Tyson on July 20th in an event that will be shown live on Netflix.
