Watch out, YouTube boxing fans… the Jake Paul vs KSI feud may well have reignited

Posted by

Jake Paul has revealed that he is open to fighting YouTube rival KSI, should he be silly enough to challenge him.

To understand the full context of the Jake Paul circus and how we got to this point, you have to go back to where things began.

Joe Weller fought close friend Theo Baker, KSI asked to fight the winner.

With Weller having won via a points decision, he and KSI began to exchange words, which fast turned into a bitter feud.

KSI and Weller met in a white-collar boxing match, with the former winning convincingly by stoppage. He subsequently grabbed the mic and called out the Paul family.

It was Logan Paul who accepted, with his fight with KSI ending in a majority draw. Meanwhile, on the undercard, Jake Paul defeated KSI’s brother, Deji.

Logan and KSI organised a rematch in the United States, their professional debuts with no headgear. KSI won via a split decision.

Ever since that day, he and Jake Paul have been on a collision course, but the fight has never come to fruition.

Paul has gone on to defeat AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley (x2), while KSI has focused on other endeavours.

This feud is dead and buried – or so we thought.

Jake Paul was asked during an interview whether he’d still be interested in signing KSI, were he provided with the opportunity to do so.

With little hesitation – he said yes, claiming that he wouldn’t even need to train…

Your move, JJ…
