Jake Paul has reportedly asked his manager to set up a bout with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr next.
Paul emphatically knocked out Tyron Woodley in the second meeting between the pair, feinting to the body with his left before swinging the right upstairs and sending Woodley face-down onto the canvas.
While the YouTuber is still yet to fight an actual boxer, let alone beat one, there can be no denying that knocking out Woodley has strengthened his credentials in the fighting industry.
The question on everyone’s minds is – who next? Will it be Tommy Fury, or somebody else?
Well, we may well have our answer. According to the BAVAFA Sports (Jake Paul’s reps) Instagram account, Paul messaged manager Nakisa Bidarian expressing his interest in fighting Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Chavez Jr, 52-6-1, is the former middleweight champion of the world. Irrespective of recent losses, including against Anderson Silva, beating the Mexican would do wonders for Paul’s reputation.
He is not only talking about going head-to-head with an actual boxer but a good one, too. Not Tommy Fury, who has proven nothing in his career, rather a man who has proven everything.
We’d be VERY intrigued to see how this one would play out…
