Jake Paul has provided the stats that he believes prove Amanda Serrano should have been given the victory over Katie Taylor.
Taylor remained the undisputed lightweight champion of the world with a thrilling victory over Serrano on Saturday night. She ran into serious trouble midway through the bout but battled through and was subsequently given the victory.
Not everyone is convinced that Taylor was good value for the win, though, least of all Jake Paul, who is Serrano’s promoter and close friend. He took to Twitter to claim that the Puerto Rican was ‘robbed’ and provided the stats to prove it.

Ultimately, Serrano should have known better than to stand and trade with Taylor, especially in the closer rounds of the fight. It is difficult for judges to score rounds where both fighters are going hell for leather and throwing.
With Taylor being the champion, she was always going to be given the benefit of the doubt. It was such a close fight that either fighter could have been given the decision and it would be no outrage. It leaves it perfectly poised for the rematch.
