“There’s nothing happening” – Former Arsenal star a free agent with no offers at 29-years-old

Former Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed that not a single club has approached him this summer.

Wilshere was once considered one of the brightest young talents on the planet. THAT performance against Barcelona in the Champions League is often recalled as evidence of how good a player he was, and how great he could have become.

Unfortunately for the midfielder, serious injury problems have disrupted his career, with Wilshere now 29-years-old and without a club to play for, as he was discussing during an appearance on talkSPORT.

Wilshere has been working on his fitness and attempting to find himself a new club this summer, but has not been approached by anyone, with nothing currently in the pipeline, as he told talkSPORT.

Few could have predicted when Wilshere was excelling under Arsene Wenger as a teen that he’d find himself in such a sorry position during what ought to be his prime years as a footballer.

It’s now pretty clear that Wilshere isn’t going to realise the potential he showed during his younger years, but we hope that he finds himself a new club and reminds everyone of what he’s got in the locker.
